Test Redo Procedure
Students will have the opportunity to redo or retake tests for full credit based on the teacher's discretion. If a student gets a D or lower on a test, they will be required to redo the questions they got wrong. If a student gets a C or higher, it is their choice to redo the incorrect questions. When a student retakes a test, they will first need to look at the questions they got wrong and explain what their mistake was. They will then bring home the original test with their responses to get a parent signature. The student will also need to indicate when they would like to work with the teacher to review missed concepts. There will be times before school, during recess or after school. Once the test is returned with a parent signature, and the student has reviewed with the teacher, they can retake the test questions for full credit. The questions on the retake will be similar, but not exactly the same as the questions on the original test.
